Adrenaline Adventures

You asked for more exciting places to take your Side x Side and we have delivered. Welcome to Adrenaline Adventures NZ (AANZ). We are New Zealand’s Premier Side x Side events company based in Palmerston North. We are making available to you (in limited numbers) more Side x Side tracks and trails than any other company in New Zealand. We don’t care what brand of Side x Side you drive; we just want you to enjoy our Adrenaline pumping 2 and 4 day adventures throughout our amazingly beautiful country. We will take you to areas of forestry and private land throughout New Zealand that you just can’t access without us. On our Adventures you will have (with a few thrills and spills I’m sure) the opportunity to see parts of the country that you never knew existed. All our Adventures are designed to give you the best experience whether you are just starting out into Side x Side or been doing it for years.

We can’t wait to say Gidday, shake your hand, and then introduce you to others that are joining us on one of the many Adrenaline adventures events that we have planned.

Important Dates

Lismore Forest Dates

  • March 11 and 12
  • June 3 and 4
  • July 22 and 23
  • November 25 and 26

As below camping is available from the Friday before each of these weekends.

Lismore forest is situated about 20 minutes north of Whanganui on state highway 4. There is approximately 80kms to 90kms of tracks through the forest that we have access to at different times of the year (weather depending). There is a huge variance in the different loops that you can do here from open and fast through to slow and technical. We are constantly working with the forestry management to open up more loops, so each time you turn up there will be a new challenge you to master. There is even a massive muddy basin type play area that you can fine tune some of your skills in. We have permission to camp (Friday and Saturday nights) on site (No open Fires) and there are toilet facilities available for your convenience.

Central Districts Dates

  • May 18 to 21

This 4-day event starts and finishes just out of Palmerston North at Hiwinui. Over the four days you will travel over Gravel Tracks, Dirt Tracks, Private Farmland, Forestry and a small amount of sealed roads.

Day 1 – Hiwinui to Taihape.
From Hiwinui we head to a remote location just south of Taihape, we will pass through some locations and sites that you have always wanted to get to, but couldn’t until now.

Day2 – Taihape to Whanganui.
Moving from Taihape through to Whanganui will be via dirt and gravel roads and farmland with detours through several forestry blocks along the way

Day 3 – Whanganui to Whanganui.  
Whanganui through to the Waitotra valley to another remote location where we will stay for the night. Traveling through forestry and private farmland with a few stops along the way for photos of the epic views.

Day 4 – Whanganui to Hiwinui.
Making our way back to Hiwinui will be over several private farmlands and maybe a bit of a forestry loop. We will be stopping at an iconic site for lunch as we wind our way back to Hiwinui for the end of the run.
